A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.

Better late than never

So I know these are a little late, but I always seem to be late getting their Halloween portraits done. So as you can see they still loved getting into their costumes. Cameron wanted the hook and then the photographer told Keegan to "get" his brother and that is why Keegan is hooking Cameron. I think it turned out way cute. It is so typical of the interaction of the boys. I love it! The look on Keegan's face too when he actually hooked Cameron is just priceless...maybe he should have been a devil. He can be devilish when he wants to, but isn't all boys like that? :)

Some Holiday Cheer

I have no idea how to add thses clips to my post, so I am sorry you will have to deal with them at the top. There are 2 great clips that I found. One is from Jeff Dunham, which I have fallen in love with. He is hilarious and I love how he does Achmed. I am so excited since he is coming to Pocatello in April and hopefully we will be able to go. The other clip is just a Gap commercial that I think is really cute. So enjoy and hopefully I will be able to figure out how to do this a little easier for you guys.

All Cameron

So my little one is not that little anymore. Even though his vocabulary is still very limited he is growing up. He puts away his dirty clothes, in the hamper, (more than I can say for his brother and his daddy) he wants to wash his own hair and he will take you to what he wants. He is still as cuddley as he was when he was born. He loves to gives hugs and kisses and he loves being around people. He mimics Keegan to the letter and wants to be involved in everything Keegan does (which annoys his brother sometimes). It has been so much fun just watching him grow up. Cameron and Keegan are so different, it is a whole new experiece with him. It is almost like having your first child. Everything that worked with Keegan doesNOT work with Cameron. Even though there are those days where I want to pull my hair out, I love him to pieces. Since Keegan goes to Kindergarten for about 3 hours a day it give me some "alone" time with Cameron. So here are a few pics of today, just him and me having fun.
Thanks to Aunt Heather, Cameron now as a favorite play toy!
He actually will just walk up to the horse and gibe it loves or
while he is riding it he will do the same.
He rocks and rocks and rocks this horse forever.
And of course we have to have our tongue out
while we are rocking.
We got ready to pick up Keegan early so more
time for some pictures.

Isn't he just too adorable!! I just want to kiss
and pinch those cheeks all day.

Playing hide and seek with is toys or was it more
"Mom, can you see them? Can you get them?"
As you can tell they are just so far out of his reach...
needless to say I got them for him. I can't deny him :)
Well most of the time, I can't deny him.
I love you Cameron.

I gave in

So here is my first attempt at a mohawk. Keegan
has been begging for about a month to go to school
with a mohawk. I keep putting it off and putting it off because
I really didn't want him to go to school with one. The reason...I have
no idea. So that is way I finally caved in. So here are some pics
of a very happy Keegan.
He was being goofy!

Peace out Man!

He makes me laugh when he gets into one of these moods.
Maybe I should do mohawks more often!!

1st Snow Fall

So on Wednesday morning we woke up to this!
Isn't is great? I am now ready for the snow. You kind of
forget how pretty it can be and we have just had
crazy weather for the last month or so. I mean
it is November and this is the first, sort of, good
snow fall? Weird ;) btw...the Halloween decorations
are now put away. We were kind of being a little lazy.
My lovely new car that just got a bath, of course.
Doesn't it always happen that way!

When I woke up this morning we still have about 75%
of the snow still on the grass. The roads are clear now
but the snow stuck around on our yards. Maybe we will get more
and get this winter going!

Halloween!!

Halloween is here and we had a blast!!
Cameron was a little upset having to wait
but we finally got on our way.

We were lucky to have Aunt Heather, the girls, and Aunt Bri come with us. Trying to get all kids looking at the camera and smiling...yeah this is the best we got.

Here are my boys ready to go. Cameron is happier and doing his cheesey grin and Keegan just wants candy.

Kenzie was nice and toasty warm in her costume and she was happy to be out too.

Delton and I took turns taking Cameron up to the door. He was excited at first untill he realized he couldn't eat every candy he got. So there was a few tears but he got into the spirit after a few houses.

Cora, Alexa and Keegan were racing to each house and it was hard to keep up with them. It's funny how "free candy" gets kids excited.

My sisters!! I just love having them up here and being able to do all the fun stuff together. I just hope our trick or treating wasn't too boring for Heather and the girls. I know it is just a little different than Cali. Well at least this year it was warmer. We actually didn't have to put long johns on or our winter coats, which is always nice. Everyone can see the costumes this time!

I know this picture sucks but if you look hard enough Delton and Cameron are in there!
So that was the last picture we could take. We were out for about an hour and the kids got their candy and we got ours! Everyone hung out for a little bit after trick or treating and the kids took turns passing out candy to the trick or treaters at our house. It almost seemed they had more fun doing that than getting their own candy. Overall it was a good night and another Halloween to put in our memory books.

Pumpkin Carving

So here is our night of pumpkin carving. Delton and I decided to
buy one of those pumpkin carving kits. We thought we would see
how good they worked and maybe Keegan would be
able to use it too. Cameron thought it was great to
get his hands all dirty in the pumpkin guts. Keegan still
hates to clean out the pumpkin but he did a pretty good job.

Cameron is still cheesing it up with the camera and
Keegan is pretty proud of his clean out job.

Keegan was in such deep concentration. He drew
his own face on the pumpkin and he basically
carved out 95% of the face.
He did a great job and he was so happy
he did it all himself.

Cameron had to help Mommy with his pumpkin.
Keegan was never really interested in the pumpkins
when he was little but Cameron is the complete opposite.
He had to be right in there with me. He kept taking the
puncher and poking into all the cuts I already did.
He kept him happy and it worked.

Like father like son, Delton is in deep concentration too.
The kit we bought had alot of different patterns that you can try.
So Keegan picked out the ones he wanted us to carve into
our pumpkins. Delton ended up doing the wolf one and I
did that cross bones.
So here is out finished projects!! YEAH...every year I
swear I am not carving something different and I still
do it. It takes me twice as long as Delton but I still do it.
So the pumpkins go as follows...just in case you can't tell...
(starting left to right) Delton = Howling Wolves
Amber = Skull and crossbones
Keegan = Toothy Grin
Cameron = Happy Pumpkin
This is our attempt at trying to get a good picture
with the lights off. Good enough right?

One last try at a good picture. We had a blast. The kids
where way excited and even though Cameron tuckered out
before Delton and I started on ours, Keegan was our cheering section.
He kept walking back and forth between Delton and I telling us
"Good Job" and "You need to be careful" and "That looks great".
So it was a fun filled night and pumpkins can be annoying but too fun
to sit out.
