First Concert

So Keegan had his first Kindergarten concert. He got to sing for a room full of senior citizens and he did a great job. The kindergarten classes sung all together and I just loved watching them. Aunt Heather came to watch Keegan too, so Cameron had fun with her too.

Here is Keegan right before school. Of course Cameron thought he looked quite good too. Keegan thought it was great he could wear a tie to school

He actually got the hand movements down this time. It's just GREAT!

Singing his heart out.

Cameron and Aunt Heather enjoying the music.

Cameron wanting some camera time.

Keegan just making sure I am still watching him.

Generation Gap

So everyone knows that between every parent there is a generation gap. When you are little you hear about how they had to walk up hills both ways in 10 feet of snow just to get to school. I have never considered myself too old and I always thought that my age is pretty well into the technology age. Well my oldest blew that ALL away. So a couple of weeks ago I told Keegan that we needed to sit down and write his letter to Santa. Well he looks at me and very seriously says, "Mom, I don't need to write a letter to Santa. Why do I need to write one when Santa has email. I need the computer Mom." I couldn't stop laughing. How sad is that when my 5 year old knows that emails are easier than writing. I guess I need to start hand writing letters now. So needless to say I had to explain to him that Santa can't have email in the North Pole and that is why we have to send his letter by the post office. It was a good night and it sure did put me in my place.

My family

This year has been a little interesting with pictures. Keegan's PTO was having a fund raiser back in November. So you get a matted and framed 10x13 for $13. So Delton and I figured we would do that and then get christmas cards from them. Well everyone but Cameron looked great and Cameron looked stoned but he was still cute. He really didn't like the photographer so it was really hard to get him to smile. Well Delton and I thought that the pictures would do so we decided to get the cards. Their prices were RIDICULOUS!! So we thought we might be able to scan the 10x13 and get our own cards done. Well that didn't work out either. So I had to drag the boys to JcPenney and get another sitting done. So here are the pics that we got from that sitting. I think they turned out pretty darn well. I might be a little biased but my boys are very handsome and I think I have a pretty good looking family. I just LOVE my family.

Getting Ready for Christmas

So I know I have been a little bad about this blog so here is quite a few pictures of us getting ready for the holidays. For the first time in a couple of years Delton and I didn't have to put up our Christmas light in the snow or in a blizzard. There was actually no snow yet so it was kind of pleasant. I didn't freeze my butt off and Keegan was actually able to stay out the whole time with us. It was fun and Delton is such a sport. I love to have the lights up right, I mean RIGHT, after Thanksgiving. Even though he doesn't see my reasoning he still does it for. That's why I love him.

Keegan is suppose to be helping Delton and I putting up the christmas lights but he wanted to pull weeds. How can I say no to that? Yes, my child is weird, he likes to pull weeds.

My handsome man putting up the annoying icicle lights. No matter how we store them, they are always a tangled mess when we get them out. Oh well, I love them so we deal.

Putting the last finishing touches on the house and getting the extension cord somewhat hidden.

Keegan just having some outside fun before the first snow fall hits.

Keegan getting the bulbs ready to put on the tree. We actually lucked out on the tree. In Rexburg we don't have tree lots. If you want those you have to drive to Idaho Falls and pay an arm and a leg for a tree so we just head down Broulims and get our tree there. Well Delton took a look at the trees on Friday night and they had a TON of really nice looking ones. So we thought we would be ok to wait till Saturday morning. Well, we get there and there is maybe 10 left and the ones that were unwrapped were really bad Charlie Brown trees. So we decided to take the chance and just get one of the wrapped ones and hope for the best. We actually got a really nice one. It has been a long time since we had a full tree. I just love my tree. So here we are trimming out tree!

Cameron just itching to get his hands on those bulbs. He has a arm on him so we ended up losing about 2 of them to his arm. He thought they were balls and they don't bounce like a ball should. :)

Cameron wasn't too sure on what he was suppose to be doing. He actually just wanted to touch the angel to the ceiling not the tree. It was kind of funny watching Delton holding Cameron up, trying to guide his arm to the tree and not the ceiling and keeping an eye on the angel so it doesn't go flying. Of course I couldn't help because I needed to take the pictures. It was memorable.

Cameron was already bored so he took a break on his horse.

Santa's little helper. He had to wear the hat, which is too cute. He was just having the time of his life putting the ornaments on the tree.

Santa's big helper who didn't want to have the hat on and was about done with the pictures. Maybe he should be put on the naughty list! :)

Keegan's turn to take a break on the horse.

Our finished tree. Isn't it pretty?!?!

Just some cheesey grins and a wish for everyone to have a Merry Christmas!

Help

So if anyone can help that would be great. Just the last 2 blogs when I uploaded the pics to my post it is coming out all in the code so I can't put wording under each individual picture. How do I get it to go back to when the pics are uploaded you can see the pictures and then you are able to type your wording in. This is driving me nuts!!

Thanksgiving

So here are some pics of our Thanksgiving feast. It was alot of fun. We went to Heather's for an early dinner. Bri, Heather and I went shopping together and few days before Thanksgiving to get all of the food. Then on Wednesday Heather and I prepped everything and got all the desserts done. So then on Thanksgiving all we had to fix was the normal food, potatoes, yams, stuffing, rolls, etc. Heather started the turkey and she did a GREAT job. The turkey tasted wonderful. I don't know why it was SO GOOD since turkey is usually dry and well you know...it's thanksgiving turkey. This one though just tasted great. We stayed for a little while and played Catch Phrase. That was alot of fun. Bri and I were on a team and Heather and Ken were on the other team. Well Bri was at the very end of the timer and she said smaller than a foot. Well right then it buzzed and I said "Toes" since you know...toes are smaller than a foot. Needless to say she was looking for inches. We got a huge laugh at that. We were all crying from laughing so hard. I was hoping to stay longer but Cameron wasn't feeling good and had a little fever so we went home. Heather, Ken and Bri all played some more games after we left and it sounded like the had a good time. Thanksgiving was a blst...THANK YOU Heather for having it at your house.

Pet Love

Every morning and night we have to bring Bert in to eat. He seems to be a little bit of a coward and won't fend for his food. So if we want him to eat, he has to come inside. The other outside cats seem to LOVE his food, so it is just easier to do it this way. Once he was done eating a couple of weeks ago, Cameron was wanting to pet him. So Delton brought him into the living room for some loves. Needless to say he wasn't too happy with Cameron trying to squeeze the life out of him but he was a good sport. He just sat there with his ears flat back and put up with it. He is such a good cat, too bad we can't keep him inside. Cameron would LOVE it! Keegan had fun too wrestling with Gabby to keep her away from Bert since she thinks he is her play toy. It was a fun little get together and plenty of lovies to go around.
